Our April fundraiser “Sunday Jazz Brunch on the Beach” at the Marriott Pompano Beach Resort and Spa was very successful and provided a day of fun for the approximately 60 guests in attendance. Old favorites played by “Eric and the Jazzers” livened up the room which was overlooking the beach and ocean on a lovely sunny day.
Board President Janice LaVrar, and SLC Executive Director Lorry Herdeen greeted the attendees and thanked the event’s generous sponsors. Along with a wonderful gourmet brunch, guests enjoyed taking chances on Chinese Auction items along with bidding on Silent Auctions..
